A Work in Progress I'm starting a new blog called "Interpreting Music with Color" I will replace my Painting-A-Day blog as I am doing less of that and am now concentrating on interpreting music with paint. You can also follow by liking my art page on Facebook called Robyn Sand Anderson Art. In this series I am painting 8-10 paintings interpreting Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg's music. I was grateful to receive a grant from the SWMN Arts Council and the McKnight Foundation to travel to Norway to study Grieg, his home, his life and the landscapes that informed his compositions. Follow my progress with this new blog!

When I was still a secondary high school student, these things were introduced to me. I was familiar with all the paintings that are being used by our artists. We all know that they also have various methods on creating their masterpiece. I have to say that paintings that were made from Acrylic on Gessobord have good quality! Just like this one; You can see that the colors are very bright and they have blended really well. How I wish I know how to paint too so I could create such wonderful masterpiece!
