Today I worked on a painting that I did for my last exhibit. You can find it under the Acrylics tab, Enigmata Exhibit to see what I started with. It had it's own simple beauty of horizontal layers, but I decided to work with the cruciform motif, a favorite abstract motif. I like the interplay of light that suggests earthy textures and interstellar movement. I am fascinated by the photos that come from the Hubble space telescope. They look like paintings! Abstract paintings, at that. There is an Artist at work.
