Today I want to bring to your attention the finished paintings inspired by the music from 17th century, Dieterich Buxtehude. I immersed myself in the music, read the lyrics, read the director's notes and these are the results. I tied these seven paintings together with a similar color palette and with the rectangle of blue which brings your eyes to the focal point of the body part the music is centering on. In the last painting, Ad Faciem - To the Face, the rectangle moves to the outside edge.
