Acrylic on Archival Gessobord with 3/4" Birch Sides, 12x12", Ready to hang!
An early morning greeting to the sky after a long winter's nap. I've made a few changes to the top of this painting from yesterday, adding to the sky, a muted blue. I wanted to give you a "worm's eye-view" of the first leaves of spring coming up out of the ground. I am working on a job this weekend, so I will be back painting some new 12x12's next week. Then it is off to Sedona for an art workshop with Jan Sitts. I received an arts grant from Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council to study with her and create an exhibit for next fall at The Grand in New Ulm, MN. I can't wait to learn more about painting abstracts in acrylic!
